Mandatory things<\/h3>\n

Things you really must have when you come sailing:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Passport or Personal ID<\/strong>, in accordance with the visas required in the country we are going to travel to<\/li>\n
  2. Waterproof clothing<\/strong>, both for rainy days and for windy days<\/li>\n
  3. Medium or high sunscreen protection lotion<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. After sun lotion<\/strong>, just to make sure you don\u2019t have any unpleasant surprises after a very sunny day<\/li>\n
  5. Hat<\/strong>, scarf or any other accessory that can protect your head from the sun<\/li>\n
  6. Pins<\/strong>, hair bands<\/strong> or, again, a scarf<\/strong>; you can be as creative as you want on a windy day \u2013 maybe a braided hairdo will fix the problem for you<\/li>\n
  7. Bathing suit<\/strong>, the main clothing you will need during the sailing holiday; maybe something: eclectic<\/a>, floral or digital print<\/a>, bohemian<\/a> via Adoreness<\/em> – whatever suits you best<\/li>\n
  8. One pair of flip flops<\/strong> and\/or one pair of flat sandals<\/strong> \u2013 hey, you\u2019re on a boat, not on the runway!<\/li>\n
  9. Beach towel<\/strong> to take with you when we are exploring the beaches<\/li>\n
  10. Light shoes<\/strong>, with non marking sole, flat, light colors, preferably some Converse\/adidas\/shoes type; NO WAY anything with heels or platform!<\/li>\n
  11. Of course, don\u2019t forget your sunglasses<\/strong><\/li>\n
  12. Cash<\/strong>, mainly necessary for the \u201con board money\u201d, dinners at taverns and car\/scooter rentals<\/li>\n
  13. One round of warm clothes<\/strong> for chilly or windy evenings<\/li>\n
  14. A medical mini-kit<\/strong>: some pills for pain, for cold, something antiallergenic and, who knows but it may come in handy, something for sea sick<\/li>\n
  15. Natural\/bio cosmetics<\/strong>\u00a0– preferably the soap, shampoo or shower gel used to be bio to protect both the environment and skin exposed to the sun<\/li>\n
  16. Flexible and foldable luggage<\/strong> \u2013 that means a trolley or a suitcase are out of discussion!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Useless things<\/h3>\n

          You\u2019ll probably never use them at all:<\/p>\n

          • Second pair of sunglasses<\/strong><\/li>\n
          • Third pair of shoes<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

            Step by step<\/b><\/h2>\n

            The first rule is about the luggage itself! A trolley or a suitcase is totally useless on a sailing holiday. Because it\u2019s big, it takes up a lot of space and it will be hard to find a place for it on the boat. So, it\u2019s best if you pack all your things in a flexible, foldable and easy to carry bag, preferably waterproof. When you go sailing for one week, you really don\u2019t need more than two bathing suits, or two bathing shorts, for the guys. And, for sun protection, keep in mind to also pack a hat or a cap or a scarf. Clearly, an adequate sunscreen lotion should be packed as well. And don\u2019t forget the sunglasses! You are now fully sun protected!<\/p>\n

            During the 7 days you\u2019ll be spending on the sea you will see that you will use maximum 3-4 blouses\/t-shirts\/t-tanks. And you also have an extra FunSailing T-shirt, waiting for you on board! The easiest way to mix up a T-shirt\/blouse is with short pants \u2013 and you don\u2019t need more than 2-3 pairs. Of course, girls should have their summer dresses with them \u2013 but no more than two, so just pick your favorites! What is absolutely mandatory when going sailing, both for the ladies and the guys, is a wind stopper jacket \u2013 \u201cla piese de resistance\u201d when it comes to real good sailing days! As for shoes, besides the flip flops, a pair of Converse or sport shoes will be useful. Mind that most boats have a white deck, so the shoes you are packing for this holiday must have a non marking sole!<\/p>\n

            Ladies, you might also want to take a pair of flat sandals, something light and comfortable, easy to match. Nope, no high heels needed in this holiday! We guarantee they won\u2019t help you make sensation on any of the boats!<\/p>\n

            Do you feel you still need a couple of ideas for things to pack, other than what\u2019s already been mentioned above? Well, maybe a pair of long trousers and a sweatshirt, for chilly evenings. A medical mini-kit might be good as well. Take some pills for pain, some for cold, something anti-allergenic and, just in case, something for sea sickness. An after sun lotion could be good, just in case the sun was too strong. A small, easy to carry backpack, for the days when we rent scooters and\/or cars and we go exploring the islands. It shouldn\u2019t be too big, just enough to carry a towel, a bottle of water and a sunscreen lotion. Oh, and, of course, don\u2019t forget your pajamas and the necessaire!<\/p>\n

            Other than that, just come with a good mood!
